1. Registration, supervision, assistance, counsel and control of registered cooperatives societies.
2. Audit, Inspection, Arbitration and Liquidation.
3. Control over Cooperative Education and Training.
4. Development of Cooperative Movement and Human Resource.
5. Implementation of various schemes including NCDC & ICDP.
6. Recovery of loan
7. Such other duties and responsibilities as may be provided under the relevant Cooperative Societies Act and Rules or Bye-Laws framed under.
