National Cooperative Database; With the bifurcation of the Cooperation from Agriculture Ministry, one of the first exercise which the Ministry took up was to collect the information of all the cooperatives of the country and upload the information in a centralized portal called as the National Cooperative Database to be accessed by all the stakeholders and which will eventually help the Ministry in policy formulation of the Cooperative sector. The department has also undertaken this task in 2 phases and uploaded information of 8023 Cooperatives and are still in the process of uploading information for additional parameters which the Ministry adds in phase manner.
